    What should be my strategy for preparation of UPSC exams while doing B.Tech in ETC branch?

    hi...i am ashish kumar..i am doing b.tech from ETC branch..thus is my 1st year.what should be my strategy for preparation of upsc exams?

    1. To read the news paper for daily updation.
    2. To update with the internet for latest news.
    3. Watch the news.
    4. Update with magazines for economy, pol sci and the general studies.
    5. To read the books your optional subject.

    You can fill the form of IES examination i.e. Engineering Services examination conducted by UPSC in which you can get central govt. jobs for engineering services.

    You can apply online for these examinations at www.upsconline.nic.in

    The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

    The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

    There is five years relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.

    Hi as a engineering student i will advice you to keep an eye on humanities subject's (if you are interested) because it will help you to prepare for CSAT as well as interviews
    and you should also keep yourself updated with latest events.
