You should start from the middle of 2012. Follow the leading newspapers of India thoroughly and regularly. For the paper 2 practise model question papers daily. You should read civil service chronicles and other important monthly magazines thoroughly from the middle of the year 2012.

you should start preparing as soon as possible because from now only 6 months are left for the preparation
and it is better to practice more which you can do in present time
so as soon as better

2> if your mind catching power is good and you are able for 5-7 hour continuously study than one month is sufficient for preparation..
3> but if you are weak in some subjects than please start your preparation before 6 month ago..
4> your burden is decrease automatically with this procedure..
