i finished btech in ece with 69% in 2013
now i want to know d details about the subjects available in upsc exams nd also the exam pattern how to study

i like your dreams as upsc here i will give you some instruction.
>> UPSC is stands for union public service ..
>> it is indian government union that will hire people behalf of indian government.
>> upsc take 3 part of examination
1. prelims exam .
if you got passed in this exam then you can apply for.
2. manins exam that is for 7 subject and 4 is optional in it.
>> and at last if you passed mains then
>> you can apply for final interview.
>> and for that you have to prepare general studies and Indian constitutions.

It is nice that you want to join civil services exam which is conducted by UPSC.
UPSC conducts many civil services exam in every year.
Education Quilification;-
1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
2-There is no percentage requirement
3-Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.
Age limits;-
General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students.
Age relaxation;---
3 years age relaxation for OBC category
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category
10 years for PH candidates
exam pattern;-
Civil services Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies having 400 marks.
2 hours are given to each General studies papers.
Civil services Mains exam pattern changed from this year.
Now Any Indian Language papers consist 100 marks as qualifying marks.
English language papers consist 100 marks.
Essay papers marks is same as previous.
Now general studies papers consist 500 marks.
There will be last stage of Interview which consist 275 marks instead of 300 marks.

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is a govt. body which conducts exam to recruit people for most coveted job in India.
UPSC takes 3 parts of examination.
- Preliminary exam
- Mains exam
- Personal Interview
Prelims not having any optional subjects. There are 2 papers includes general studies and aptitude test and both are compulsory.
Mains having 7 subjects in it. Amongst 4 are optional subjects.
After passing the mains you can apply for Personal interview.
