In order to become an IAS officer,you need to clear the civil services examinations which are conducted by the Union Public service commission.The minimum requirement for the examinations is :
1.You should be a bachelor's degree holder.Even if you are in final year of graduation then also you can apply for the examinations.
Sorry to say that after three years of diploma you are not eligible for the civil services examinations,you must complete your graduation in order to become eligible for it.
Mean while you can prepare for the coaching institutes like :
1.Rau's IAS academy
2.Chanakya's IAS academy
3.Khan study group.

The examination consists of three stages which are as below:
1.Preliminary exam
2.Main examination

Dear, Sorry to say There is no exam on the basis of the mechanical diploma. If you complete the +2 with science subject then you are eligible for the following two exams 1. NDA Exam 2. SCRA Exam. For the NDA exam the age limit is the 16.5 to 19 years For the SCRA exam the age limit is the 17 to 21 years. Other wise firstly you complete the degree then you are eligible for the any exam. Number ot the exam is taken by the upsc on based of graduation 1. CDS 2. CIVIL SERVICE EXAM 3. IES 4. IFS 5. CRPF etc. I suggest you firstly complete your degree. Even final year students are also eligible for the exam Best of luck

Sorry friend but there are no Exams for undergraduates to become IAS officer. Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.
You are not eligible for Civil Services Examination after completing diploma in Mechanical Engineering since the minimum requirement is graduation and diploma is not considered as a graduate course, So you can do graduation and then you can apply for Civil Services Examination.
The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Final year degree students are also eligible
The age limit is 21-30 yrs
The maximum number of attempts for General category is 4
The candidate should be Indian

dear you wan to become an IAS officer you will have to clear civil service exam which based only graduate degree. And you have diploma in this situation diploma holder candidate are not eligible for this exam. So, firstly complete your graduate degree then apply for it.
