expected date according previous trends is AUGUST,2012.

however it is not fixed by UPSC,so they declares before or after the said month,

Dear Applicant,
-The Civil Service PRELIMINARY EXAMS were successfully conducted on the 20Th of May,2012 by the UPSC.
-The results are expected to be declared by the first week of August,on the official website of the UPSC-www.upsc.gov.in
-You can view your results using your examination Roll Number and your Date of Birth,that you have used while filling the application form.
-Those candidates who qualify the Preliminary exams will appear the MAINS Exams to be conducted in the months of October-November.
-You will not have much of the time once the results are declared,hence you should keep your preparations up for the Mains.
-The results are ought to be declared in time,and you can remain updated of all notifications through the official website of UPSC.

## UPSC Prelims Last date for receipt of application on 05/03/12 and the examination was held on 20/05/12 .
## So , you can except the results from in the month of August OR Sept in the official website of UPSC and employment news paper .
## You can check the results using the Roll Number as well as Name .
## The results will be available in the PDF format , So you can download the results .
## After announcing the Prelims results , you have a short time to appear for main examination .
## After announcing the prelims results with week or month , the main exam time-table will published in the official website of UPSC .
## Mostly main the exam will be conducted on OCT in the official website .

The UPSC preliminary Examination is successfully completed on 20/5/12 and the result are expected on the month of july or augest on the official website of http://Upsc.gov.in. You can view the result on using your roll no and your date of birth.And the candidate who are qualifying the preliminary then called Main examination the main exam is commenced on 5/10/12.

the expected date of the preliminary exam is the month of may every year. and result is declare after two month and main exam is held in the month of the august/September.

dear surely i can't say that when the result for the UPSC preliminary exam will be declared,
but it is expected that the result for the upsc preliminary exam will be declared in the month of august 2012,
but still it is just a expecting date so have patience and wait for the result..
