upsc is basically a board which conducts various examinations like ssc,cds,nda scra and so on... and ssc is one of the examz conducted by upcs .. for example its like cbse board which conduct various examination of school level mainly +1 and +2 board examz.. in that sense upsc is similar to cbse means its a board and ssc is similiar to +1&+2 as these are examz conducted under these board..!!
SSC is staff selection commission.
Age Limit: (i) 18-27 years as on for Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector (Central Excise)/ Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts / Ass.. Enforcement Officer and Divisional Accountants / Auditors /UDCs/ Tax Assistants (ii) 20 to 27 years as on for posts of Assistants and Sub-inspectors in CBI. (iii) 26 years for Statistical Investigators Gr.II (iv) 20-25 years for Sub Inspectors (Ex) in Central Police Orgnisations. (v)Usual age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/ExS etc. as per Govt. orders.)
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from any recognised University. (ii) Statistics/ Mathematics / Economics / Commerce subjects in Graduation for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II
This exam is conducted in three levels.
Combined Graduate Level (Preliminary) Exam(objective)
Duration-2 hours with fifty marks for each subject.

difference between UPSC & SSC is that you can make the IES IPS IAS IFS in upsc exam & in ssc you make SI, head constable and many posts are available for you.
dear friend UPSC and SSC both are the government bodies which conduct the exams but UPSC is responsible for holding the exams for almost all the government A grade jobs but SSC hold the exam for B and C grade government jobs you can check the details at upsc.gov.in and for SSC at ssc.nic.in so all the very best buddy.
