    Hello,
You can go in any exam like UPSC, SSC etc. In UPSC exam you can fill up the form of IAS/IPS exam. But you cannot go in UPSC IES exam i.e. Engineering Services Exam because there are four categories under which UPSC taking exams:

    1. Civil Engineering

    2. Mechanical Engineering

    3. Electrical Engineering

    4. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

So, You can see there is no category for IT student. So you can fill up the form of IAS/IPS examination.

You can also go for SSC Combine Graduate Exams and also you can go for Ethical Hacking and Network Security Examination.

But first of all you have to choose your aim that in which field you want to go.

    Wish you all the best,

Only a mechanical, electrical, electronic and communication and a civil engineering student can go for UPSC examination.
But you can apply for SSC exams. If you have much interest in your field you can go for ethical hacking and network security examination.
Otherwise the options like PO examinations is always open for you.

Firstly, you cannot apply for IES as only the Electrical,Mechanical,Civil and Electronics streams are allowed.Secondly you have to decide whether you want to stay in your computer field and specialise or you want to switch fields to govt jobs as because if you sit for Bank POs or SSCs there won't be any such core computer type jobs for you.But both these jobs are in their own way very high profile govt jobs which will give you a secure and settled future. However, the IBPS Specialist Officers exam takes IT officers so in that case that will be agood option giving you both almost! So,now it's upto you to decide.Good Luck!
