Who gets more Salary between an IAS and an Ethical Hacker?

I am a B.Tech(CSE) student who want to earn more. Since I can't appear in IES exam I was planning to appear in IAS exam but i came to know that an Ethical Hacker also gets good salary so what should I do now?

AND THE ANSWER IS WRITTEN BY UPSC THAT A candidate possessing a degree in Engineering in any discipline is eligible.

NOW IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IAS AND ETHICAL HACKER POST THEN IAS HAS MONEY WITH POWER.

THINK YOU CAN GET MORE MONEY WITH A POWER OF ADMINISTRATION.

For IAS/IPS exams you can get the job of Indian Administrative Service like DC Deputy Collector or DM deputy Magistrate and for IPS you can get Superintendent Of Police i.e. SP etc.

HELLO,UPSC conduct examination for IAS &IES OFFICERS .but according to my guess both have same power in country or area.for both exams you can apply. but age limit for both exams is ,candidate age not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years.from my guess both ies and ias officers have same salary.hence you can apply for both from your choice.ALL THE BEST!

-Sometimes,there is something more to achieve than just the salary.The options you have presented here are quite one-sided,and rightly so,everyone would give preference to an INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE(IAS) Officer,rather than an ETHICAL HACKER.
-The UPSC conducts the Civil Service exams,every year for the recruitment of candidates into the highest Civilian posts of the country,and one of the Greatest post at stake is that of an IAS.
-An IAS is appointed at a post,as high as a District Magistrate once he qualifies with a good rank.He demands respects in the society,and holds a prestigious position of dignity.
-He is also PAID EQUALLY WELL AND THE ALLOWANCES ALLOWED TO HIM make him more than just a common man.He also enjoys a lots of powers,away from politics and legislative layouts upon him.
-If he desires,he can change the face of the area under his control,and no one could restrict him do so.This is his power.

-On the other hand,being an ethical hackers,you might earn quite a bit of money more than an IAS( which is also not happening for everyone),but our society still does not deems a Hacker with respect.
-Further,the allowances and powers of an IAS tilt the balance in his favour.
-Hence,you can better look into joining as an IAS.
Although,Ethical Hacker is not so bad a profession either.

Hii friend....you are saying is studying 1st year B.tech so that you have plenty of time to think and make a good decision about your career because UPSC needs only complete graduates in any stream(cse) with any aggregate from any university ....and you can exactly eligible to appear UPSC (IES) exams so all the best and coming to Ethical hacking is also more profitable job but there is no growth in the stream where in IES you can grow in few number of days and this is the best whicle compared to ethical hacking so first think and plan your career with good decision ...any way all the best my friend..

Hi dear
Ethical Hacking and Civil Servant are two totally different jobs in all perspectives.
As an IAS you are in charge of a department with high responsibilities ,high social value and good earning too but as an Ethical Hacker you have a some what free lifestyle and good earning .
But you cannot directly compare these things like the free life style of an Ethical Hacker and sense of responsibility as an IAS , as they suit to different people .
So this is actually a question of your own interest and behavior and while deciding between these two carrier options always remember that none of these is a cakewalk and these carriers require both knowledge supported with good skills...

P.S. you are also eligible for I.E.S. Exam.

first i want to clear you that you can apply for both IAS and IES.
coming on your question IAS and ethical hacking are totally different fields. IAS related to Administration and Ethical hacking is related to Computers.
both have lots of money. but IAS has power also.
so its your interest that you want to go for IAs or Ethical hacking.

WELL IAS EXAM IS CONDUCT BY UPSC . IAS means Indian Administrative Service it's related by a department officer .
and an Ethical hacker is related with computer . and the biggest different between an IAS & an hacker is that an IAS
OFFICER have many power .but a hacker have no power .
