NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year . NDA I exam was already completed on 15/04/12 . NDA II notification was released and the examination will be held on 19/08/12 .

The candidate must be Single (Unmarried ) male candidates are eligible to apply and candidate have a minimum qualification is intermediate(12th) of a reputed Institution . Candidate age limits should have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years . Candidates who are cleared this exam and the candidates recruited into the Navy wings , Air force wings and Army wings .

If you want to join Air force then your should complete Graduation in engineering or Physics and maths and then apply for CDS and AFCAT exams.

You can join air force through CDS exam and your age should be 19 to 23 years for it.

If you are joining through AFCAT then your age must be 19 to 27 years.

AFCAT is conducted for flying branch , technical branch and ground duty branch. You have to choose which branch you have to join.

For flying branch you have to pass PABT test to become a pilot.

sorry to say that girls are not allowed to give nda exam instead upsc conducts this exam twice in a year thats why it is named as nda i & nda ii .........
so , if you want a career in defence than after graduation you can go for various exams like cds , ima, ues ,etc ..

According to UPSC,girls are not eligible for NDA.Only unmarried males are eligible for NDA.

Only males can apply for NDA.NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is one the entrance exam to join any of the civil services like Indian Army,Indian Military and Indian Navy.

But you should be eligible for it.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years and your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6.

You should be physically fit.

Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.UPSC conducts NDA exam twice in a year. so they mentioned as NDA I & NDA II.
for both NDA I & II unmarried males are only eligible. not females.

Sorry, girls are not eligible for NDA. UPSC invites application twice in a year named NDA I and NDA II and and both are only for unmarried male Indian citizen not for females.
