    Hi Aspirant,


    CPF exam is conducted for the post of central police for various paramilitary forces.

    For the preparation of CPF you will have to do hard work.

    It is central exam and conducted at all India level.

    So exam pattern will be tough.

    You can join any good coaching institute for the preparation of CPF exam.

    You should read newspaper and magazine at daily basis.

    For the preparation of English you should practice of writing essay.


    Qualification required for Central Police Force exam

    Candidates must have graduation degree in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

    Final years candidates can also apply for CPF exam.

    Candidates must attain the age of 20 years and not more than 25 years.


    Age relaxation to eligible category

    OBC + 3 years

    SC/ST + 5 years

    PH + 10 years

    You must be Indian.


    Syllabus of CPF exam

    General ability and Intelligence ( 250 marks)

    English and comprehension ( 150 marks)

    Important dates of CPF exam

    Notification Date: 28/7/2012

    Last date of application: 27/8/2012

    Exam Date: 11/11/2012

    CPF stands for Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Exam conduced by UPSC once a year.

    Tentative Dates(liable to changes) :

    Notification of Exams - May
    Conduct of Exam - October

    Age Limits :

    General category - 20-25yrs
    OBC - relaxation by +3yrs
    SC/ST - relaxation by +5yrs

    Both males and females are eligible for CISF & CRPF.For SSB,

    CPF stand for Central Police Force. It is conducted by UPSC. CPF exam is conducted for the posts of CAPF, BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB.


    Eligibility Criteria:

    1. you need to complete or appearing in final year of graduation

    2. Age Limit:

    • General: 20 to 25 years
    • OBC: 20 to 28 years
    • SC/ST: 20 to 30 years

    CPF stands for the central police forces.
    this examination is conducted by upsc every year.
    this is a graduation based examination.
    aspirants having graduation or engineering degree are eligible to apply for this examination.
    this year, the notification for this examination was released by upsc on 28th July 2012.
    the last date to apply for this years CPF examination was 27th AUG 2012.
    this year CPF examination will be conducted on 11th NOV 2012.

    the age limit to apply for this examination is 19 to 25 years.
    for the sc/st aspirants the age limit is 19 to 30 years .
    for the OBC category candidates the age limit is 19 to 28 years .

    according to the eligibility criteria for this examination
    for CISF and CRPF both Males and Females are eligible while
    for SSB, BSF and ITBP only Male candidates are eligible.

    aspirants appearing in the final year of their respective courses are allowed to appear at the exam
    but they are required to submit proof of passing after qualifying the written test, medical standards test and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)

    gk,
    reasoning,
    numerical ability .


    paper 2
    essay writing,
    comprehension of given passage,
    and precise writing.

    After written test there is a physical efficiency test(PET)
    and then a interview is conducted.
