UPSC civil Services Exam is divided into three phases
1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview

after clearing all the three sections you would get the job.

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Graduation in any field from recognized college or university. Candidates who appearing in final year of graduation can also apply for Civil Services Exam.
2. your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-(FOR CSE)

1. THE CANDIDATE MUST BE AN INDIAN.
2. HE/SHE MUST BE A GRADUATE FROM A UGC RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY.

AGE CRITERIA:-

1. for GENERAL aspirants- 21-30 Yrs
2. for OBC aspirants - 21-33 Yrs
3. for SC/ST aspirants- 21-35 Yrs

NO. OF ATTEMPTS:-

1 for General category aspirants-4 ATTEMPTS.
2for OBC category aspirants- 7 ATTEMPTS.
3 for SC/St category aspirants - NO ANY LIMIT.

PROCEDURE:-

1. PRELIMS (OBJECTIVE.)
2. MAINS(DESCRIPTIVE.)

UPSC takes the Civil service exam for the post of IAS ,IPS ,IFS and so on .
The criteria for the UPSC CSE exam is below :

-> one should done their graduation from any recognized university


-> A final year student can also eligible for applying the exam , but before the main exam one have to complete the graduation .


-> age limit is 21-30 for general cast , 3 years relaxion for obc , 5 years relaxion for sc/st/ex-serviceman , 10 years relaxion for physically handicapped .


-> maximum 4 attempts are allowed for the general cast , 7 for obc cast and no limit for the no of attempts for the sc/st cast .


The exam pattern is below :
There are three exams.
1) preliminary exam
2) main exam
3) interview


Preliminary exam consist two papers
1.General Study
2.Optional subject
and one should pass this exam for qualifying for the next round .


Main exam consists 9 descriptive type paper
1-Any language defined in constitution of India

3-essay
4-general study
5-general study
6-optional subject-1
7-optional subject-1
8-optional subject-2
9-optional subject-2


The first two papers marks are not considered but one should pass this two paper compulsory .

In this you have 3 parts in civil exam i.e.,
preliminary ,mains and final interview
You have to qualify all of the above mentioned
