Civil service examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.
ELIGIBILITY:-
-- You must be an Indian citizen.
-- You must be physically fit for applying in the examination.
-- Your age should not be less than 21 years & not exceed 30 years.
-- But for SC,ST, O.B.C. category upper age limit relaxation is available.
-- For SC/ST- 5 years of age relaxation. i.e. age limit 21-35 years
-- For O.B.C- 3 years of age relaxation. i.e. age limit 21-33 years
-- You must have completed your graduation from recognized university.
-- Candidates passed their graduation from Technical/Professional courses are also eligible to apply.
-- Final year candidates can also apply.
-- Only passing mark is enough to appear the exam.

The UPSC conducts the CSAT examination every year. The eligibility criteria is to pass or appearing final bachelors degree in any recognized university. The age is from 21- 30 years. It consists of two stages. The first one is preliminary, main & PI.The preliminary examination has two papers i.e. General studies and English language and comprehensive test, with two hours duration each. After qualifying the preliminary examination, You have to appear main examination where you have to opt two optional papers from the optional list given by UPSC. The written examination will consist of the following papers :Paper I One of the Indian 300 marks
languages to be selected by the candidate from the Languages included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution.
Paper II English 300 marks
Paper III Essay 200 marks
Papers IV and V General Studies 300 marks for each paper
Papers VI Any two 300 marks
VII, VIII subjects to for each
and IX be selected from paper optional subjects set out in para 2 below.
Each subject will have two papers.
