    How can I join Indian Army having week eyesight?

    hello
    My eyesight is week, how can i join Indian army?
    My one eyesight is -1.75 and another eye is -2.00 then how can i join Indian army?

    hi friend ,

    since it seems you have a irregular eye sight deficiency it will be a problem during your physical fitness test .

    there is nothing can be done to improve your sight as catract will not be allowed in defence services .

    for further enquries please approach a army doctor or your eye specialist .

    you can join indian army if the vision of both of your eyes is 6/6 wearing spects, but if it is not so with spects then you are not eligible for indian army.

    Friend, please note that# As a general rule, prescribed eye sight for defence service is 6/6 for better eye and 6/9 for worse eye.# But note that in terms of eye sight which you have specified in the query that you one eye has 1.75 D and another eye has 2.00 D . # But note that permissible limit in defects in eye sight for army is upto 3.00 D and beyond the limit of 3.00 D are not accepted. So your present degree of defects in eyesight is within the permissible limit of 3.00 D. # So you are fully eligible for the defence service.# In the meantime, you can perform following things in order to improve eye sight are: * Regularly visit eye specialist. * Eye Sight Improving Exercises. * Certain Yogic Postures (Under the supervision of Yoga experts). * Certain Pranayams. * High protein & Vitamin A rich diet.
