UPSC Has released the Notifications for the Indian engineering Services Exams 2013

Exam will be held from 28th June 2013

Forms are being filled right now
Last date to apply is >> 6th May 2013

Forms can be filled online through the below website:

UPSC has advertised that approx number of vacancies would be around 763 for this years exams.

Educational Qualifications required to apply for this exams is:

>> BE/BTECH pass in any stream
OR
>> Passed section A and Section B of Instution examinations of Institution of Engineers
Or
>> Graduate Membership Examination of Institute of electronics and Telecommunication Engineers

Age-
Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Eligibility criteria for IES:
Qualification:- You should have completed Bachelor degree course in Engineering in any of the following stream....
Civil Engineering .
Mechanical Engineering.
Electrical Engineering.
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
(If you are in the final year of Engineering Degree then also eligible to apply)

AGE limit:- Age should be in between 21 to 30 years (Relaxation of 3 years for OBC & 5years for ST/SC candidates in upper Age limit)

You will not get updates from anywhere directly to your mail or phone about IES.This is not some private job portals which keeps on sending updates about private jobs.You need to visit the website of UPSC to know about the updated notifications.As of now,IES notification is out for 2013.You can check the website of UPSC for the notifications and can apply for that.You need to be a graduate in Engineering or in final year of Engineering within the age limit 21-30years.The last date to apply is 6th May 2013.Syllabus is also given in the notification for all the 4 branches.Check out as soon as possible in the website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
