1. go to the website www.upsconline.com
2. select your particular examination [ PART-I]
3. enter the details , check once again all details are correct
4. enter submit
5. select PART-II in the same exam .
6. enter your register no. and login to view your application
7. make the payment and upload a photo and signature [ make sure both are of good quality ]
8. make the online payment through various gateways and offline through the challan provided by the system and pay it in the nearest SBI bank
9. get the challan after filling the application form
10. get the printout of the online application for future reference .

The UPSC application form and Information Brochure can be purchased from your nearest post office on required cash payment. Brochure contains general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application form. Forms should be strictly bought from the designated Post Offices only and not from any other means. One form can be used for one examination only. After duly filling in the application form, mail it to the address provided and within 30 days you will receive registration number, if not received, contact upsc office.
Online mode -

Part-I consists of personal information, educational qualification and address, relaxation, exam centre, fee payment and declaration.
