Dear if you want to know about the physical and medical fitness for a candidate who is going to become IAS Officer then remember that IAS is the highest rank in all over India and if this is the highest rank then remember one thing that all the necessities will be completed and analyzed by the board before appointing any candidate for this rank because a candidate is going to get massive responsibilities in future so they prepare a candidate who is completely able for that duty because if an IAS Officer will be disabled or unable to work more due to some inappropriate physical and other medical standards then what is the use of selection process of any post in India that is why there is a separate selection process according to that if you pass all the required stages - Preliminary Examination - Main Examination - Personality Test then the next stage is the Physical and Medical standard tests in that you have to provide a certificate of your physical and medical standards to the authority because that certificate will be verified in a process then you will be declared fit and active for that duty otherwise will be given another rank under this recruitment so remember that physical and medical standards are really necessary for candidates who want to become IAS Officer so they should be fit and active all the time and according to the medical and fitness authorities
