in the preliminary exam two paper held, both of the paper is the general study exam. two exam :-
1. General Study
2. General Study.
in the mains exam the following exam is held.
1. English-1
2. language-1
3. General study
4. optional subject-2
5. optional subject-2
after the written exam the interview wiil be held for the selected candidate. the passing marks for the general candidate 50% marks required.
for the reserved category the passing marks is the 40%marks
the maximum marks is variable each and every year. it is depend on the candidate ablity.

MAINS:

language paper(qualifying nature)

so totally 9 papers.
the marks one should score varies from year to year.
