for appearing in UPSC exams you need graduation and your age must be within 21 years to 30 years with relaxation in upper age limit: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
Tips for Preparation:
1. As you are garage owner you have to do work in a day. you can manage your time table in evening for preparation.
2. start preparation according to UPSC syllabus.
3. Study 6th to 12th NCERT books.

Being a garage owner it is difficult to do the preparation of civil exam.
Civil exam is the toughest exam of India.
But with strong desire nothing is impossible.
You should manage your time as per your study schedule.
You should do the coaching for civil exam.
You should keep a helper in your garage, so that you could give more time to your study.
Study reference books and practice previous year question paper to understand exam pattern and know your weak point.
