I am not proficient in speaking english. Can I give my UPSC interview in Hindi Medium?

I am proficient in writing in english medium but not proficient in speaking english. So , if I am giving upsc mains exam in english then is it possible for me to give interview in Hindi medium.... plz reply

Yes, ofcourse you can choose Hindi as the medium of interview.

You can choose Hindi as you seem to be comfortable and confident speaking in it.

Also , one can put his/her views across better in the language one is comfortable speaking in.

Hindi is our national language after all. Dont worry prepare for your mains exams well.Even

if you are writing yor mains paper in English one is allowed to take Hindi as the medium of Interview of personality test.

Yes,of course friend u can give. UPSC gives the option of writing in any of the 22 languages prescribed in our constitution. But in my view its always good to write in English, because of lack of proper books in hindi.All resource materials , books are mainly available in English, which you have to study and translate to English. Further, except in language paper, nowhere your skill in the language is tested. Its enough if you could convey your thoughts clearly to the examiner.

u can give ur interview in hindi language . upsc allow candidetas to give interview in hindi and many other states language but more prefer hindi and english .
this is not a issue for interview in upsc , dont woory and give in hindi .
The Questions that are commonly asked in the Interviews are as following :-

yes you can opt the Hindi language as your interview language even if you give the mains exam in English.

According to UPSC you can choose English or Hindi or any Other Indian language which is opted by you for one compulsory Indian language as your Interview language.

So you need not to worry of it.

Yes definitely.
You can give the Interview in the way you are comfortable in speaking.
Interview process is the most crucial stage in which it defines the understanding quality of a candidate.
they will ask you certain question by twisting some words here and there, so you should be able to understand it.
So you can answer the question in the language to you have understood it perfectly.

So do not worry about the speaking efficiency
