    Hello,

If you completed B.E. degree in IT sector then you can go for IAS/IPS examination. There is also a exam for Specially for Engineers but I think you cannot get preference to it.

The exam name is IES i.e. Engineering Services Examination. But there is four categories for this exam.

    1. Civil Engineering

    2. Mechanical Engineering

    3. Electrical Engineering

    4. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

So, You can see there is no category for IT student. So you can fill up the form of IAS/IPS examination.

    Wish you all the best,
