Yes IT Graduates are definitely eligible for IAS examination. So you must not take tension if you have completed Graduation in IT field and should start preparing for the exam with a free mind.
In Fact any Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University is eligible to apply for IAS examination.
All you have to take care is that you have the required age and other criteria fulfilled before applying for the exam.
Age Limit:
General Category : 21 to 30 years
OBC Category : 21 to 33 years
SC/ST Category : 21 to 35 years
Selection Procedure:

Number of attempts are limited in numbers for General/OBC. So if you belong to these categories then plan your attempts carefully and don't apply if you are not fully prepared.
For SC/ST candidates there is no limit in attempts.
Students are not from any sector.Professionals are from sectors.
If you are a graduate you can apply for Civil services anyways regardless of your stream of qualification.

See as per educational eligibilty criteria you need to be graduate from a recognised university. And if you are graduate in IT sector then you may appear for the examination.Besides this also keep in mind that you have completed your age of 21 years. It is the minimum age limit fixed by the commission for appering in the examination. However upper age limit has been fixed to 30 years which has been relaxed by 3 years for OBCs and 5 years for SC/ST.
