Yes its is different both are work in different field .IAS means Indian Administration Service and IPS means Indian Police Service .Both age eligibility is same .For general category candidates is 21 -30 years.Relaxation for obc - upto 3 years and for sc/st - upto 5 years.IPS minimum height for male - 165 cm and for female candidates - 150 cm.Nationality must be Indian otherwise candidates will be rejected.Both married and unmarried are eligible for this post.
