ACIO IB exam model paper
Please tell me how to prepare for the ACIO IB exam.How marks for the exam.what is the syllabus to be prepared.what is the duration of exam.How many marks should come to qualify the exam.prescribe the books for the preparation of Acio IB exam.

Assistant Central Intelligence Officer or ACIO is a Grade C level officer in the Intelligence Bureau.
If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for ACIO Exam.Your age should be below 27 years old.Age relaxation provide for reserved category .
Selection Procedure / Syllabus:-
Selection is done via a Written Test comprising of two papers Written test Time limit: 1 hour 40 Minutes
Paper I:
Paper I is Objective type containing questions on
1. General awareness
2. General knowledge
3. English language
4. Reasoning
5. Mathematical aptitude
Paper II
Descriptive type consisting of:
a. Essay
b. Precis writing
### If you have scored above 50% marks in each section then you will get chances for IB ACIO grade II exam .

Dear actually there is no more time to be prepared for examination because online application date for this examination is over and if you have applied then this is very good and you should take the target of about 2 months that you just have to complete both learning and practice for this examination within 2 months then only you should begin preparation of this examination and proceed further
* Syllabus and Examination Pattern for IB - ACIO - Assistant Central Intelligence Officer
There will be two papers conducted in this examination at a day where paper I will be of objective type pattern and paper II will be of descriptive type pattern and details about the Paper I are following as :
These subjects will be asked in examination - General Awareness, General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, Comprehension, Mathematical Ability and all these subjects will contain 100 questions for 100 marks and passing in paper I is necessary
Paper II - This paper will be set to check the knowledge and proficiency of the candidate of English Writing Skills and Analytical capability and this will contain 50 marks in which you will get at least 3 different topics of subjects to write an essay within required limit of the words within decided time and remember that passing in this paper is also necessary

Now you just have to buy these good books and take help in your preparation of this examination in which you need to give about 6 hours or more time everyday to get prepared because time is no more and dedication to the preparation will help you so I would suggest you that if you give 10 hours everyday then also you will find it insufficient for preparation because Paper I covers huge syllabus and data to prepare for examination so you should keep working over both papers in which take some practice test of paper I available in various books and give at least 3 hours everyday only for writing on various issues of India and world that may be possible for upcoming IB ACIO Examination i.e. - FDI in Retail etc. so you should keep in touch with your knowledge of new events and highlighted issues happened and happening in India
When paper I contains 100 marks and paper II 50 so you have to try your best to score good marks in both papers because there are only 750 posts in this recruitment and lakhs of candidates are going to appear for this examination so you should try to score more than 80 marks out of 100 in paper I and 45 marks out of 50 in paper II where you have to show your best writing and comprehension skills to the examiner then you will be called for personal interview process and then you have to try your best ever to crack interview process because this is intelligence department of India and you are ready to serve anywhere in India so you should have good knowledge of defense and intelligence services of India because you may be asked for this type of questions and also know about the international affairs of India and internal security problems so you can crack interview process
