Dear,
The UPSC conducts the CPF(AC) every year. The age limit for it is within 21-25 years. The age limit for OBC is 03 years, for SC/ST is 05 years. As per your date of birth, you have already crossed 25 years at the time of advertisement for 2014. So, if you come under the reserved categories as the above said, then you can appear for the examination. You can also visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks..
Hello Guest,
As per the eligibility criteria of union public service commission, the age of the candidates should be minimum 20 years & maximum 25 years as on the 1st august of 2013.
Now as on 1st aug. 2013 your age will be 25 years 4 months 16 days.
So, I am sorry to say that if you belongs to general category then you are not eligible for this exam.
But if you belong to certain categories then the upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable-
(i) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
(ii) upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
(iii) upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants in accordance with the existing instructions of the Central Government. Ex-Servicemen will also be eligible for this relaxation.
However the total relaxation claimed on account of Government Service will be limited to five years.
(iv) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989
THANK YOU.
