    Can I write IPS exam while studying final year B.Tech?

    hello sir
    now i am final year btech can i write the ips exam?

    yes of course you are eligible.
    you can write.
    you should apply for UPSC civil service exam.

    usually notification comes in the month of jan/feb in a year.
    exam will be in the month of apr/may

    it has
    preliminary exam
    main exam
    interview

    must clear prelims to write main exam.

    QUALIFICATION: bachelor degree of any stream from a recognized university

    AGE LIMIT:
    21-30 yrs for gen
    21-33 yrs for obc
    21-35 yrs for sc/st

    NO.OF ATTEMPTS:
    4 for gen
    7 for obc
    no limits for sc/st

    Yes of course the minimum qualification for the IPS examination is Graduation in any stream. IPS i.e. Indian police services gives you the job of Superintendent of Police and other good central govt. jobs.

    You can also appear in IES exam i.e. Engineering Services examination. For IES examination you can get the job of Railway Engineering Stores, Central Engineering Services etc.

    -Being a student of final year in BTech,you are definitely eligible to appear for the Civil Service Exams,conducted annually by the UPSC.
    -Mentioned below are the complete eligibility of the Civil Service exams-
    :: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    -You must be a citizen of India,
    or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India,before 1962.
    -You must be 21 to 30 years of age.
    However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
    -You must have completed your Graduation or Equivalent from an authorized university,with any subject or stream.
    FINAL YEAR STUDENTS ARE ALSO APPLICABLE.
    -Number of attempts allowed :
    For Open Category : 04
    For OBC Candidates : 07
    For SC/ST candidates : Unlimited.

    # The notifications of release of forms are made in the month of January,every year,on the official website of UPSC.

    -Choose your optional subjects well and to your strength.Somewhere,give preference to the Arts subjects as they are scoring and hence have a higher success rate.

    -Read THE HINDU as a newspaper.It has proper English and news too.
    -Solve a lot of model papers.
    -Adopt a systematic way of study.Use your time well.

    Hey friend,

    IPS is one of the Indian Civil Service exam and the exam is conducted every year for the post of IPS officer.

    Being a final year B.Tech student you can apply for applying for IPS Exam as you satisfy the education qualification needed for IPS Exam.

    There are other criteria's which you need to satisfy in order to apply for the IPS exam and they are:

    > Candidate need to be a citizen of India

    > The age limit needed for joining in IPS Exam is 21-30 years for General Category

    > There are certain upper age relaxation for other category.

    > Education qualification needed for applying for IPS exam is that you need to have completed a degree in any discipline

    > Candidate need to be physically fit.

    You need to satisfy all the criteria in order to apply for the IPS Exam

    Dear,

    you can appear for the IPS exam. but you have to submit your Graduation Mark sheet at the time of Mains Exam. It will not be considered if you are unable to submit the same when you are applying for Civil Services (Mains) Exam. So, think about it. Good Luck...

    yes, you can get to join IPS after competing through the examination held by UPSC known as CIVIL SERVEICES examination even though you are in your final year.

    UPSC can conducts the civil services examsfor( IAS,IPS) also conducts CMS,IES,CPF,CDS,IFS etc......
    UPSC takes these exams every year.

    IAS,IPS,IES,IFS exams can be conducts in 2 stages namely

    Preliminary exam
    Main examination.

    After completion of preliminary exam you are eligible for Main examination.

    After clearing the main examination you will be called for final interview.

    Preliminary examination should consist of 2 papers.Which is conducted on objective type only.

    Main examination should consist of 9 papers,it is a descriptive exam.

    Eligiblity:


    Education qualifications;

    You have to pass your graduation in any recognized university.
    Age qualifications:

    Your age should in between 21-30 years.
    Upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

    No.of Permissible attempts:

    4 for General candidates.
    7 for OBC
    No limit for SC/ST's.

    Nationality:Indian.

    You must be physically fit as per rules.

    yes you can write the UPSC exam .The eligibility criteria for the exam is below :-> one should done their graduation from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks for general cast , 55% for other cast .-> A final year student can also eligible for applying the exam .-> age limit is 21-30 for general cast , 3 years relaxion for obc , 5 years relaxion for sc/st/ex-serviceman / physically handicapped .-> maximum 4 attempts are allowed for the general cast , 7 for obc cast and no limit for the no of attempts for the sc/st cast .So you fulfill the above criteria so that you can give the exam .The exam pattern is below :1) preliminary exam2) main exam3) interview The final selection based on the marks available in the main exam plus interview .Preliminary exam consist two papers and one should pass this exam for qualifying for the next round .Main exam consists 9 descriptive type paper 1-Any language 2-english3-essay4&5-general study6&7-optional subject-18&9-optional subject-2The first two papers marks are not considered but one should pass this two paper compulsory .So start the preparation for the exam and give it .Good Luck

    My dear aspirant you can write the upsc exam while studying in b.tech

    As dear you just need to be pass in graduation from a recognized indian university

    And also final year student can also apply for the exam dear

    And age limit for the exam is 21-30 and relaxation

    Will be given to obc and sc/st of 3 and 5 years

    And dear 10 years relaxation for ph candidates

    Well friend, for sure everybody who's either A graduate or a final year student of graduation are eligible.

    Here below i am scribbling down eligiblity criteria for Civil services


    Eligibility Criteria for Civil services :

    >> You must have done Graduation from any Recongnised University by UGC or you should student of final year , if Correspondence than DEC.

    >> Age Factor :

    Minimum age : 21 Years
    Maximum Age : 30 Years

    Relaxations for OBC : 3 Yrs in Maximum Age
    Relaxations for SC/ST : 5 Yrs in Maximum age.

    >> Number of Attempts, you are allowed :
    Genereal : 4
    OBC : 7
    SC/ST : No limit.

    >> You Must be Indian Citizen for that.

    Firstly, i will confirm you that IPS is not an exam it is an officer level post. IPS comes under civil services examination.

    Yes friend you are eligible for civil services examination. Because if you have completed your graduation and also if you are in last year of your graduation then you can apply for civil services examination.

    Your age must be under 21-30 years.

    Dear,
    Yes you are eligible for the exam but at the time of interview you have to submit your result of all the semester.
    As the Notification comes in the month of Nov/Dec
    Pre- exams in May and then Mains and then Interview.
    Till then You will have your graduation degree.

    So you can apply for the Civil Service Exams conducted by UPSC.

    Yes,you eligible to write UPSC CSE exam. If you are in gen. category you attempt it 4 times and if OBC then 7.
