    Dear,

your first optional subject is very good, it is scoring subject and less syllabus other than the other subject.

Public administration is the most popular and scoring or famous subject for the civil service mains exam.

you select the other subject as the geography. it is also scoring subject,

and easy than the mathematics.for the mathematics your preparation is very strong and number of the formulas keep the mind.

geography is the theatrical subject which is better you and easily got the study materials from the internet/market

so you took the public administration and the mathematics optional subject for the civil service mains exam.

for more information please update with the www.upsc.gov.in

best of luck for the exam

You can choose any optional among them but from my point of view if you choose geography then it is good and also it depends on you to check which subject you are more able to score and you can choose the one..

    hi
if your first subject is the public administration and now if you are seeking out for your next subject, then I am very happy to tell you that you dont need to search for it because of the latest modification in the syllabus of the IAS pattern, they have changed the pattern and from now onwards you will only have to chose the one optional subjects for the preparation of your mains exam.
