    Hi Aspirant,

Friend for the preparation of civil service exam you can choose any subject of your interest.

In civil service exam you will have to choose the optional subject for the mains exam.

Friend you can apply for civil service exam in final year of graduation.

Here I am giving the list of optional subject for the mains exam

    Agriculture
    Animal husbandry & vetinary science
    Anthropology
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Civil engineering
    Commerce and accountancy
    Economics
    Geography
    Indian History
    Law
    Management
    Mathematics
    Mechanical engineering
    Medical science
    Philosophy
    Physics
    Political science & international relations
    Psychology
    Sociology
    Statistics
    Zoology
You can choose the subject of your desire in the above list.

Friend makes the selection of subject very carefully and because your success is directly depends upon the optional subject.

Architecture is not include in the list of optional subject, so you should choose other subject which are familiar to you and you have core knowledge of the subject.

I will suggest you to choose History and geography as optional subject which will be very helpful to cover the general science.
