Is it possible to appear in IAS exam from Delhi being a local of Kolkata?

I am from kolkata, preparing for the IAS. Want to appear from delhi, is this possible ? If yes then how ? Please help !

Yes, Of course you can appear from Delhi.

Just enter the examination centre of your choice properly you want while filling the application form.

Once you have submitted your application form you cannot change your exam centre. UPSC doesn't grant any request for changing examination centre.

Your admit card will be send to the resident address you have entered.

There is no such restrictions in choosing centre of the examination.

But kindly note that the centres for holding the examination are liable to be changed at the discretion of the Commission. While every effort will be made to allot the candidates to the centre of their choice for examination, the Commission may, at their discretion allot a different centre to a candidate, when circumstances so warrant.
