hi dear,
even if there is no clear cut height criterion mentioned in any of the rules of Indian Foreign Service portal,still the candidate needs to be physically fit.again,in most of the civil service examinations the height preferred is minimum of 155cm.best of luck and prepare well.dont go for height criteria now as its no where mentioned strictly.just prepare well to crack through the exam.

IFS exam stands for indian forest service which is conducted by UPSC.

IFS exam eligibility;-

You must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized university in the following;-

--Animal husbandry and Veterinary science

--physics,chemistry,stat,math,zoology,geology,

--Graduation in Agricultural/forestry

Age limits;-

General age limit is 21-30 years.

OBC category is 21-33 years.

SC/ST category is 21-35 years.

Number of attempts;-

General-times

obc-7 times

sc/st category-No limit

---You must be Indian citizen.

IFS exam physical standard;-

Running 2.5 kms in 15 minutes

push ups-20

situps-20

Rope climbing 3 meter min
