Hello Friend,

If I am not wrong, you intend to ask about UPSC 2012 Mains Pub Ad exam and not 2013. The exam paper was a little different from previous year ones as it contained questions about those thinkers about whom UPSC never asked before. It was found that the question paper setters picked those thinkers from a single book which is not very popular among aspirants. There is no guarantee that next time UPSC will ask about the thinkers from that book. So, it can be taken as an aberration this time. Rest of the questions were on the expected lines.
