i am a final year btech student.and i have only 58% of marks.i am very interested in customs duties and customs services.am i able to sit for customs service exam?

Custom duties are the taxes levied on the imports and exports of our country. So, naturally you can't join it. For customs services, there are many posts ranging from clerical cadre to Group-A officers. Through civil services exam, UPSC recruits Group-A officers for custom deptt. You can give UPSC exam while pursuing final year of B.Tech. But remember, appear in exam only when you are confident of a good show. Otherwise, you will be wasting your time and every failure has the potential to bring your morale down.
