It is only good when you are not getting a good college or you are too desirable and confident to give this exam.
It may or may not create problem in your future depending on the situation because some companies consider this situation while many neglect this when you complete your degree and looking for placement.

Dear student,
You seem to be very bright, and so it seems no problem in dropping a year for preparing for the SCRA or the AIEEE exams.
Meanwhile, you can strengthen your weaknesses within this span of a year.
Practice lots of MCQs,especially in maths, physics and chemistry.Keep pace with the general studies.
Solve as much as model papers as possible in least possible time limit.
Success in these exams can turn your life for the good.
Go ahead.

Dear aspirant, its not great choice to drop one year in the present era.just think you got 90% in 12th standard but didn't try for comp. In this this time so what is guarantee that you will be successful in next time.I'm just suggesting you that try another course with your preparation because you seems a bright student you can do both things without any difficulty.Best of luck!

dear if you think that you can do much better then you scored now then you can drop a years just in order to get a better colg. and yes for sure it will help you...
but if you think the result will be as same then i do not think that you should drop...
remember if you going to drop then you must be much serious towards AIEEE exam...
good luck

dear friend,
According to me it is not wise to drop 1 year for the preparation of SCRA and AIEE exam. as you got 90% in 12th means that you are good at studies. Both SCRA and AIEEE Exams level is based on 12th. So you should need to apply this year. If you don't get selected for Best college or SCRA then you can think of drop of one year.
Good Luck.........
