    if you want to become an IPS officer, then it is very compulsory for you to be very good with your general knowledge and the current affairs.
    you need to keep yourself up to date about all the topics and national and international events that are taking place in the world.
    you should develop a habit of reading the complete newspaper daily, so that you can cope up with the preparation in a better way

    you must be know to current happening around you (national/international).
    must read newspaper.
    must be good in general knowledge.
    must be good to english and language part.

    You must be well prepared for this subjects-

    1-GK
    2-MATHS
    3-ENGLISH

    These are the basic subject required in all civil services.And for better knowledge read newspapers watch news etc.
