CONDUCTS GROUP I,ii,ii,iv EXAM FOR VARIOUS VACANCIES IN GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT OF A.P STATE
qualification= minimum qualification needed is bachelor degree
age=the age limit is different for different post
1) age=18-34 years for deputy collector,commercial tax officer,district registrar of A.P registration and stamp service,district tribal welfare service,district employment service ,asst.account service ,deputive registrar cooperative service,district panchayat raj service,regional transport service,district social welfare service,municipal administration service,audit service,prohibition and excise service
2)age=21-26 years for divisional fire officer in fire and emergency service
3)the candidate should be physically and medically fit
4)eye sight=6/6 or 6/12 with or without glasses
5)each eye must have full field vision
6)**APPSC GROUP I MAIN EXAM IS LIKELY TO HELD ON 03-10-2012
exam stage=
1)written exam=the minimum qualifying marks for the candidate is
a)SC/ST/PH=135 marks
b)BC =155.7 marks
c)others=180 marks
2)interview and document verification=only those who qualify the written exam

group 2:
eg: Tashildar, lecturers in govt. college, junior doctors etc
group 3:
semi-skilled with almost no or little decision making authority
eg of such posts: Clerk , Typist, Income tax inspector, tax assistant etc
group 4:
manual workers like peon, driver etc
State public service commission conducts exam for all groups-1,2,3,4
but UPSC conducts exam for group 1 and 2 respectively

Group 1: It includes higher positions under State Govt. Includes positions like Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, District Registrar, Assistant Director of Rural Development Department, Divisional Officer in the Fire and Rescue Services Department.
Group 2:It includes lower positions under State Govt. The positions include Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, Sub-Registrar Grade �II , Municipal Commissioner, Grade-II, Assistant Section Officer in TNPSC, Junior Employment Officer, Assistant Section Officer.
Group 3: It includes posts like Sterno Typist,Security Staff.
Group 4: It includes positions like Junior Assistant (Non Security), Typist.

But the age relaxation will be given as per government rules
i.e the age relaxation for OBC category candidates is 3 years
