The India Forest Service is the Forestry Service of India. Its employees are recruited by the national government but serve under the State governments or Central Government.

After completing the exam the candidates go for the training of on forest and wildlife management, soil conservation, surveying, Scheduled Tribes, and handling weapons.

This service is conducted by the union public service commission the meaning of this service is to make that officers which is working in the foreign or foreign department which is in the india or outer india.
