The RAS stands for Rajasthan Administrative Service and IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. The RAS is a state level examination and IAS is a Central level. It is the highest administrative examination of the state Rajasthan whereas the IAS is the highest administrative examination of our country. The RAS is conducted through the RPSC (Rajasthan Public Service Commission) whereas the IAS is conducted through the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The stages of examination is same. But the set of question papers is different. In the RAS, most of the questions are asked from your state level whereas for IAS, most of them are national and international level.
