The cut off varies from year to year. It depends on the difficulty of the paper.
But it is said that if you have attempt 75% paper with 80% surety, then you have some real good chances to get selected in the prelims examination.
Therefore if you are preparing for the CSAT exam and if you want to get selected then it is advisable for you to keep this strategy in your mind. It helps you a lot
