There is no any difference between civil services examination and upsc examination. UPSC exam is the civil services exam. The full form of UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. This commission conducts various examination for civil services like administrative services like IAS/IPS etc and engineering services like IES etc. You can also apply for SCRA exam which is railway apprentice examination.

Upsc is a center exam. It can be done for application into various job opportunities while civil exams are exams that are written for those that want to apply for civil service
