There is no any difference between civil services examination and upsc examination. UPSC exam is the civil services exam. The full form of UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. This commission conducts various examination for civil services like administrative services like IAS/IPS etc and engineering services like IES etc. You can also apply for SCRA exam which is railway apprentice examination.

don't get confused in both terms. UPSC stands for Union Public Services Commission. It is not a Exam, it is a body which conduct several exams every year for the purpose of recruits of candidates for the post of government sector.
and CS(Civil Services Exam) is one of the exam which is conducted by UPSC.
through CS exan you can get the posts like IAS, IPS etc.

upsc conducts various exams such as Nda,Scra,ifs,cds,etc. civil serrvices exam is also an exam which is conducted by upsc for the recruitment of ias,ips,ifos,irs,etc.

Civil service examinations are of two types. One is Civil Service Admission Test(CSAT) which is conducted by UPSC every year to recruit in the top bureaucracy of all India Service & the other is the state civil service examination conducted by the state public service commissions.
Union Public Service Commission is a autonomous body which conducts various examination to recruit in the various important service of central govt.
So, Upsc not only conducted civil service examination but also organizes many other examination throughout the year.

upsc conducts exams like NDA,CDS,IES,CIVIL SERVICE,IFS,CMS ,SCRA etc.
civil service exam is one of the exams conducts by upsc.held once in a year.

So, In UPSC and Civil exam there is not any difference.
Eligibility Criteria for Civil exam :
- Candidate must be passed his/her graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.
- Candidate must be under 21-30 years.
- Candidate must be citizen of India.
- Male/Female both are eligible.
Procedure :
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Exam
- Interview

Do not confuse about that there is no difference between the UPSC and the Civil services exams.
UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) Conducts the civil services exams like IAS,IPS,IFS etc.
So you should not confuse about that.
Civil service exam are conducted by UPSC once in a year for these exams you must have bachelor degree from a recognized university and your age must lies in between 21-30 years.
