What to do after 12th if I want to become an IFS (Indian Foreign Service) officer?
I have passed out my 12 and ak from commerce stream and have got admission in mithibai college of mumbai amd have opted for B.A SO what else do I have to do before appearing before UPSEexam and which all books do I have to refer.
pls clear this query as soon as possible. . Really confused

Well friend if you want to become ifs officer after 12th then you have to complete your graduation first and then apply for the ias civil services examination.civil services exam is conducted every year by upsc for the recruitment of ias ips and ifs posts.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CIVIL EXAM:
<>you must have an indian citizenship.
<>you should have graduation degree from any recognised university.
<>age limit:
general-21 to 30 years
obc-21 to 33 years
sc/st-21 to 35 years

one need to be a graduate to become ifs and apply for civil service exam in the month of feb the for general is 21 to 30 years
obc 21 to 33 years

Dear,
To became an Indian Foreign Service officer, you have to appear for the civil services exam conducted by UPSC and have to achieve success.
And the Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
Educational Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from any recognised university in india.
Age : 21to 30 yrs for a general candidate.
So after 12th , you have to complete your graduation form any recognised university in India.

to become IFS officer you have to go any graduate course
you can opt for any graduate course as you like
candidate must have age limit - 21 - 30 years( general)
- 21 - 33 years(OBC)
- 21 - 35 years(SC/ST)

Dear friend,
If you want to become an IFS officer then you will have to wait till your graduation as graduation is the minimum criteria required for IFS.
SO after 12th you should move towards graduation.
You can do graduation from any stream. There is no restriction of streams required for it.
During your graduation You can join some coaching centre and prepare for the exam.
For IFS you are required to appear for an entrance exam known as civil services exam.
The exam is conducted by UPSC.
You will have 3 stages of exam:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
You must be a Graduate.
Final year appearing candidates are also eligible.
Nationality should be INDIAN.
AGE LIMIT:-
General- 21 to 30 yrs
OBC- 21 to 33 yrs
SC/ST- 21 to 35 yrs

*Firstly you should complete your graduation course from any recognized university then you can appear
in UPSC examination.And for Indian foreign service minimum requirements are-
*Must be graduated from recognized university.
*Age limit 21-30 for gen category ,21-33 for OBC category and 21-35 for SC/ST category.
*Must be INDIAN.
