    Hi there!

the age limits for the Upsc exams is 21-30 years itself.
But you can have age relaxation if you're under special category or a government employ.

You can have a look at that on www.upsc.gov.in

    I wish you all success!

    Hi dear
The Upper age limit for the UPSC Civil Services Exam for a General Candidate is 30 years.

But this upper age mark is relaxable for the following categories:
1.OBC Category applicants ( maximum 3 years relaxation)
    2. SC or ST Category applicants ( maximum of 5 years relaxation in upper age limit)
    3. Ex Servicemen ( maximum of 5 years of relaxation)
4.in the case of blind , deaf -mute and orthopaedically handicapped persons ( maximum of 10 years relaxation in upper age limit).

So if you are eligible to write the Exam only if you belong to the above mentioned 4 categories.

    otherwise means NOT eligible.

    AGE LIMIT:
    21-30 yrs for gen
    21-33 yrs for obc
    21-35 yrs for sc/st.

    Hi...friend

your age is much greater than the required eligiblity..

according to upsc services you are eligible to attempt UPSC

you did not mentioned about your age

anyway for general candidate upto only 30 years

coming to obc and sc/st the age relaxation will be 3 and 5 years

so that exactly you can not eligible

its better to apply for bank sector or any senior prefer jobs

    any way gud luck..

Re: My date of birth is 08-12-1978. Will I be eligible to give UPSC exams at the time?

The age limit for the exam is below :
For general cast the age is between 21-30
For obc cast the age is between 21-33
For SC/ST cast the age is between 21-35
For ex-serviceman the age is between 21-35
For physically handicapped the age is between 21-40
Now current your age is 33 so that if you are in the general cast and OBC then now you are not eligible for the exam but if you are in other cast then you are eligible for the exam .
So if you are eligible then give the exam .
    Good Luck

Re: My date of birth is 08-12-1978. Will I be eligible to give UPSC exams at the time?

    dear aspirant,
according to the age eligibility of the upsc exam,
the age limits is 21 to 30 years.
so if you belong to general category or OBC category ,
then sorry to say but you are not eligible for the upsc exam,
your age is above 30 years.
also as upsc gives age relaxation of 3 years to the OBC candidates but still if you belong to OBC then alos yourt age is not eligible for the upsc exam,

but my dear friend if you belongs to SC/ST category then you are eligible for the upsc exam,
because for the SC/ST candidates age limits is 21 to 35 years.

so if you belongs to SC/ST category then only you can apply for the upsc exam otherwise your age is not eligible for the upsc exam,
and you cannot apply for the upsc exam.

    good luck

Dear, Sorry to say that as per your Birth date i.e. 08-12-1978 your age is over for all Categories except for SC/ST for which a light chances. Other wise only Handicapped candidates are eligible of your age.

But, don't worry. You can go for your State Public Service Commission. Through which you can apply for the same ranks and posts. But some powers are less than UPSC qualifiers. Secondly, generally State PSC's give chances upto 38 yrs. So, go ahead... Good Luck....

Re: My date of birth is 08-12-1978. Will I be eligible to give UPSC exams at the time?

currently your age is above 33 years .

The age limit for the UPSC civil service exam is below :

    21-30 for general cast
    21-33 for obc cast
    21-35 for sc/st cast
    21-35 for ex-serviceman
    21-40 for physically handicapped

As per the above criteria , if you belong to general cast or obc cast then your age is above the maximum age limit .

You can't give the exam if you belong to general cast or obc cast .

But if you belong to any other category like sc/st or ex-serviceman or physically handicapped then you have still chances for giving the exam .

So its depends on your category , so if you are eligible then give the exam by preparing well .

Besides the age limit you should also fulfill the education criteria .

    good luck

    Hi Aspirant,

Sorry to say but you can not apply for UPSC exam.

The age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years.

You have crossed the age limit of UPSC exam.

Upper age limit for UPSC exam is as follows:

    5 years for SC/ST

    3 years of OBC

After getting relaxation in age you are not eligible to apply for UPSC exam.

So you should look for other private sector jobs.

Hey dear UPSC conduct so many exams but you have not mentioned your exams name.

But don't worry , i will solve your problem .

Your date of birth is 08-12-1978 , means your age is now 34 +.

UPSC conduct Civil service exams which maximum age limit is 30 .

So if you are general category then you are not eligible for UPSC exam.

But if you are from SC/ST category then you are applicable for CSAT exam because those category have 5 year age relaxation.

Age limit for SC/ST category- 35 years old.

but don't forgot this is your last year .

Re: My date of birth is 08-12-1978. Will I be eligible to give UPSC exams at the time?

At the moment your age is definitely previously mentioned 33 several years.
The age limit for your UPSC civil program exam is definitely under :

    21-30 to get standard throw
    21-33 to get obc throw
    21-35 to get sc/st throw
    21-35 to get ex-serviceman
    21-40 to get bodily inept

Depending on the above requirements , in the event you fit in with standard throw or maybe obc throw after that your age is definitely previously mentioned the most grow older limit.

You are unable to provide the exam in the event you fit in with standard throw or maybe obc throw.

Nonetheless in the event you find yourself to any other category for instance sc/st or maybe ex-serviceman or maybe bodily inept then you've continue to odds to get giving quality.

Consequently it is relies upon for your category , so if you feel a candidate after that provide the exam simply by planning well.

Besides the age limit you should also fulfill the training requirements.
using the grow older membership of your upsc exam,
the age confines is definitely 21 to 30 years.
so if you fit in with standard category or maybe OBC category ,
after that unfortunately but they're not eligible to this upsc exam,
your age is definitely previously mentioned 30 years.
also while upsc presents grow older pleasure of three several years towards OBC applicants but nonetheless in the event you fit in with OBC after that also your grow older isn't eligible to this upsc exam,

nonetheless oh my gosh pal in the event you is owned by SC/ST category you will be eligible to this upsc exam,
since for your SC/ST applicants grow older confines is definitely 21 to 35 years.

so if you is owned by SC/ST category after that solve these questions . utilize for your upsc exam in any other case your age isn't eligible to this upsc exam,
so you can not utilize for your upsc exam.
