CSAT is the first stage exams of the UPSC Civil Services Exams.

Eligibilty to apply for this exams is:
    Graduation pass in any stream
No minimum marks required in Graduation
Final year Graduation students can also apply

Age- Between 21 years and 30 years
OBC candidates can apply till 33 years
SC/ST candidates can apply till 35 years

Attempts- 4 times in case of General category and 7 times in case of OBC Category
SC/ST candidates can apply as many times as they want till they attain the maximum age to apply taht is 35 years

Interview is the Last stage of the Selection process.
Candidates can only face the Interview if they clear the CSAT and Mains exams.

Its not necessary to tell the interviewer that you failed in class 11th.
If they look at exam passing dates they can catch this as there will be gap of 3 years between 10 and 12th class passing dates in your case

Failure in 11th class will not create bad impression at all.
They judge on variety of factors and your skills and knowledge
If your perform well during the interview you will definetly succeed

    hi,
You are not eligible for CSAT exam after 11th standard. CSAT exam stands for civil service aptitude test which is conducted by UPSC.

You can this exam after graduation degree from a Indian recognized university.

    There is no percentage requirement.

Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible.

never think negative that you can not clear CSAT exam if you have fail in 11th standard.

Your age should be between 21-30 years.

At first completed your graduate degree to apply CSAT exam.

you have to more hard work to crack this exam.

It seems you are still with the sorrow of that failure, my mean to say you here is not be sad on failure which you had, instead learn from it and think about future and make sure not to make same mistake again in future.

there is no ground rule that only school toppers can crack the UPSC, otherwise only MBBS doctors could been make out in UPSC but in fact it doesnt happens. And if interviewers ask you about that then you should tell the truth with real justification with it.

UPSC is for evveryone MBBS doctors, B. SC, M. Sc, Engineers, Pharmacists, B.A., B. Com., etc. So i hope you can make out the nature of exam. its most related to the strength and will power of your brain rather to stick with your IQ part only.

"Dont struggle with the past, change the future." because you have learned something from failure which other couldn't. Use it.

To apply for CSAT the eligibility is:

1.You have done graduation in any stream from recognized university.

    2.Age limit 21-30 yrs..

Now if you have failed in 11th and you don't need to tell it from your side that you failed but one has to act very smart in interview..

And more over if you perform really well in the interview then you don't need to worry..

    No
It wont be having any kind of bad impression if you have failed in your school level examinations. The only requisite for giving the ias exam is that you should be a graduate in any field from a recognized indian university and your age should be in the limit of 21-30 years of age. If you belong to the obc category then you will be getting a relaxation of 3 years while if you belong to the sc/st category then you will be getting a relaxation of 5 years
