How to fill form UPSC exam notifications are available at official website or in employment newspaper. There are 2 modes to fill form.
1. Offline:- In this mode you can purchase the form from any nearby post-office through CRF stamp of denomination of Rs 50/- or Rs 100/-.
All filled applications should be submitted to "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier.
2. Online:- To fill application online you have to visit www.upsconline.nic.in. Instructions to fill forms are available with every exam notifications. First you should visit the website of UPSC and download the notification and go through on this carefully. After that go to the registration website to register for a particular examination.
For fee payment candidates have three options:-
1. They can pay cash at any branch of state bank of india through the pay-in-slip generated by the online application process. 2. They can pay online using the internet banking facility of the state bank of india if they are state bank of india customer and having its internet banking facility. 3. They can pay online using any visa/master debit or credit card issued by any bank/institution.

the examination is held in the month of may of the same year.

Here you will complete the registration in two parts.
In first part fill the basic details and submit application form.
Now download the challan form and deposit in SBI bank with requisite application fee.
Now complete second part
Fill payment details, upload photo and signature.
Submit the form.
You will get a confirmation email in your inbox.
Offline mode
Purchase the application form from head post office.
Fill all the basic details and paste CRF stamp and send to the prescribed address.
Application fee: Rs. 50
You will have to give the exam to the selected exam center of UPSC.
