And to become C.B.I officer you must write the "" COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION ""


This CGLE exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year

So you must apply for the "" C.G.L.E. "" exam in order to become "" C.B.A "" officer



Where as to become I.P.S officer you must apply for the "" Civil Services Exam ""

This is also conducted by the " Union Public Service Commission "


This is varied with the Above exam

For joining the cbi, you cannot go for it by giving the civil services exam. if you wish to join the CBI, then you have to give the exam conducted by the SSC. In that exam, you need to start your career as a sub inspector and thereafter once you join the field, you get promotions accordingly.
