Regarding your query about qualification of a woman during pregnancy period.
1) if a women is pregnant during preparation and exam or interview?
- there is no such a bar, if a woman is willing to give exam then upsc will not reject her on ground of her pregnancy even for interview also.
2)if woman is pregnant during training at LBS Academy then on her request she may get a leave but it will not affect on her either cedar or on her future job as ias.
3) if a woman is pregnant during specific training of her selected posts likd ias,ips,ifs etc.
- this time also on an application by the woman the board may grant her a leave and may give her chance to attained training on next session or as per their guidelines.


but the age bar should not be crossed by the woman.
