hey....
there is not sparate syllabus for a B.tech student in CDS exam.
the syllabus is same for all the applicants.
the syllabus include general awareness
english
maths
but for OTA there is no maths paper.

cds exam is common for all whether u r b.tech or simply graduate.
there are 3 papers in cds exam
1. mathematics
2. english
3. general knowledge
all are of equal marks and 2hrs each.
for OTA you have to appear only for enlish and G.K.
BUT for IMA, IAF, AND NAVY , you hav to appear for all three exams..

dear friend CDSE is conducted by the UPSC and it means combined defense services examination this exam has same pattern for all the students who are applying may be he can from science background or arts so syllabus and scheme is same for all there are three papers one of g.k and the other of English and one more of maths so dear friend work hard but you will be benefited as you are doing engineering so you can answer lot many questions of science which are asked in gk exam.

exam pattern is not concerned with the qualification fo student who is attempting the exam although it is same for all the candidates appearing in the exam,the question paprer is consisting questions of general awareness,english,mathematics ,candidates having good general knowledge and also good understanding of 12th class can easily crack the exam,and other needs to prepare well. good luck

For B.tech Students There is not special subject.
The Syllabus is same for all the candidate who's applying for CDS Exam.

cds stands for combined defence service this examination is conducted by union public service commission for twice per year.
