IES exam stands for Indian Engineering Services exam. The entrance exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the posts of Indian Engineering Service. IES are the technical services that meet the technical and managerial functions of the government of India.

IES (Indian Engineering Services) exam held every year
Date of Notification : 17-08-2013
Last Date : 16-09-2013
Examination Date : 07-12-2013
Age should be between 21-30 years
age relaxation for OBC 3years
SC/ST 5 years
Educational qualification :
Candidate must be Engineering Degree from any recognized university.

As per the current notification in the website of UPSC, IES notifications will be published in UPSC and Employment news on 6th April 2013.So you need to wait for IES exam.The earlier date scheduled was 16th march 2013 but it is now changed.You will get the notification then after 6th april
