SCRA exams for the year 2013 was held 20th January 2013

Now the dates for the 2014 exams has still not been declared.So you have to wait for the exact dates

Eligibilty to apply for the SCRA exams.

Education required to apply for the SCRA exams is:
12th Class or Intermediate pass with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry in class 12th.
OR

Graduation pass with subjects Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry


Age-
Minimum 17 years
Maximum 21 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Special class Railway exam conducted by UPSC . The notice for the examination is brught out by the upsc in the month of June- July. According to new rules , exam will be conducted twice in a year .

ELIGIBILITY :

> > Must be an Indian

> > Age must be 17-21 years .

> > Must have passed 10+2 with mathematics ans atleast physics , chemistry as a subject in the examination .

Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination is related to the Railway Job in the Mechanical Department and it is conducted once in a year .

To apply for this examination , You need to satisfy minimum eligibility criteria of this examination.

>> Candidate need to be Citizenship of India .

>> The candidate must have a minimum education qualification for the examination is Intermediate / HSC / 10+2 Pattern with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics of reputed Institution and No minimum marks required to apply .

>> Candidate must be physically and mentally fitness while appearing in this examination .

SCRA stands for Special Class Railways Apprentices Exam. The Exam is conducted by UPSC every year for the posts in Indian Railways.

for SCRA exam you need 12th with Mathematics and Physics or equivalent from recognized college or university.

your age must be within 17 years to 21 years

you must be Indian Citizen.

this year SCRA exam is conducted on 20-01-2013.

and the notification for SCRA-2014 is yet not released.

UPSC generally release the notification for SCRA exam in October/November.

SCRA is simply known as Special class Railway apprentices.According to the New rule the SCRA exam is now conducted once every 2 year.Every year near about 100000 students are appeared the exam conducted by UPSC but near about 100 are selected.
The eligibility criteria of the exam is given below:
Candidates age minimum 17 & not more than 21 & passed +2 with 1st/2nd division in Mathematics , physics, chemistry.

SCRA 2013 Exam Date: 20 January
Last Date for receipt of application online is 12 November 2012
Date of notification - 13 October 2012

Special Class Railway Apprentices(SCRA) examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) once in an year for recruiting candidate in various post of Indian Railways.

SCRA EXAM 2014 DATES:

-> Date of Notification of SCRA 2014- 5th October 2013

-> Commencement of Online Application form- 5th October 2013

-> Last Date of Submission of Application Form- 4th November 2013

-> Last Date of Depositing Application Fee- 4th November 2013

-> Date of SCRA Written Test- 12th January 2014

APPLICATION PROCESS:

All eligible candidates have to apply Online for SCRA in the website given below

Application fee is 100 INR for every general male candidates.

No fee is required for Females and SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Application fee can be paid online through ATm/Debit/Credit card.

SELECTION PROCESS IN SCRA:

-> Written Test.

-> Interview.

QUESTION PATTERN FOR SCRA WRITTEN TEST:

Paper I - General Ability Test- Duration is 2 Hours- Full Marks- 200.

Paper II- Physical Science- Duration of Exam 2 Hours- Full Marks- 200.

Paper III- Mathematics- Duration of Exam 2 Hours- Full Marks- 200.

Eligibility for SCRA:

-> Must pass Class XII examination form recognized board with Mathematics and any one of Physics and Chemistry.
