I am studying BDP from IGNOU. Will I be eligible for UPSC exam or not?

Sir, I am studying BDP through IGNOU. If I will pass out from IGNOU then will I eligible to appear in UPSC?

Well mine friend, will you please explain BDP, if it's some bachelor degree then yes you are eligible,

But you must know that there is no examination named UPSC, UPSC is a commission which is responsible for conducting various examinations.

UPSC conducts many examinations but some of them are very famous, like Civil services,etc.

So, for your help i am mentioning name of examination :

>> Civil services

>> IFS

>> CDS

>> CMS,etc

Recognized Indian university and after passing

In the graduation from IGNOU University you are eligible

To write the upsc exams as the university is fully recognized

you can write the upsc civil services exam for the post like IAS

And IPS Upsc is conducting the exam every year

For the exam the candidate should be pass in the

Graduation from a recognized Indian university

Or The final year candidates can also apply for the exam

For the exam the aspirant age should be between 21-30

Also their is relaxation given to obc of 3 years

And to the sc,st 5 years and for the ph 10 years

Their is number of attempts also for the exam

For the general category 4 attempts given

And to the obc 7 attempts given and to sc,st their is no restriction
