Qualifying in each paper is compulsory to be eligible for personal interview process and remember that this examination is listed under the toughest examination conducted by UPSC in all over India due to the selection ration and recruited posts every year that is why you have to do your best to become IES Officer in India
Give at least 15 hours everyday only for preparation and take coaching for this exam to qualify then only you will be eligible to pass exam and concentrate more on each subject. Learn various things and techniques to pass exam but knowledge will be everything in exam over Economics so you should have good proficiency in each subject and use these papers and some books for preparation
