Hi.. i m doin my graduation from the field of commerce. and i want to crack Civil exmations.. could anyone help me out from where i can get previous year question paper?????????? And what are the physical conditions to be fullfilled for IPS ranking????????

IPS stands for Indian Police Services. It is one of the prestigious post. to become IPS officer you have to write Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC every year. for Civil Services exam you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university. your age should be within 21 years to 30 years. and there is relaxation in upper age for reserved categories according to government norms.

Physical Requirements:

Height:- Male 165 cm & ST(not for SC and OBC) 160 cm.
Female 150 cm & ST(not for SC and OBC) 145 cm.
Chest:- Male minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Female minimum 79 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Eye Sight:- 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good Eye
6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye.
Near Vision J1 for Good Eye and J2 for worst eye.

You can find the questions of prelims and Mains for all subjects and all papers since 2009 till date.
Visit the website of UPSC at www.upsc.gov.in and find the link "Previous Year Question Papers".
There you will find year wise links of papers of all UPSC exams including Civil Services exam.

For IPS,you need to have a height of 165cm minimum and corresponding weight.The chest width should be 84cm without expansion minimum. There are relaxations for candidates of certain region. The exam for IPS will be the same as that of Civil services. You will get IPS based on your rank and preference stated by you.
